nice surprise in the end
I, also, bought this pot (4.8 qt) based on the photo. I was not happy to find that what i had ordered wasn't a pressure cooker, however, I was happy to see that the pot was going to get use in my kitchen. I probably never would have ordered this pot intentionally but i kept it anyway. I really like it.
it has a thermometer on the lid (lid not oven or dishwasher safe) this pot is nice for sauces and soups... but don't be tricked it's not a pressure cooker.
A pot good! Stays Hot!
Heats evenly, retains the most moisture of any pot ever used. Big enought for large birds and roasts. The merthometer in the lid is an added bonus, especially if you're fluent in Celcusese.

I love this little casserole pan. The built-in food thermometer is great for small-batch candy-making (and other foods if desired). Smaller size is hard to find, and I've searched for this size for some time. Perfect size for cooking for one or two. Good quality.
