Perfect for oven cooked bacon
While watching the "Barefoot Contessa" one day, Ina Garten made the suggestion to cook bacon in the oven. Not only does the bacon come out crisp and uniform, there is no grease spatter on the stove afterwards and cleanup is a breeze. Also the house does not smell like the inside of a greasy spoon for days afterwards. Deciding to take her advice about oven cooking bacon, I went online and purchased these pans, which comes with the one rack. As usual, her advice was spot on and I have been making bacon in the oven since.
These pans so far have not warped in the high heat (400 degrees) and have held up well. I do line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper however, so I cannot really say how well the non-stick coating will fair. For my purposes they fit the bill. If I have any complaints it would be that there was only one rack, but it is rather minor as that is what was pictured. I suppose eventually i will get around to purchasing a seperate rack.
Circulon Nonstick Bakeware
Used this bakeware all holiday season, and this product is excellent. The bakeware is very heavy duty, which allows your baking to come out beautifully. It was also great for baking instead of frying chicken.
Circulon cookware best around
Based on performance, clean-up and most importantly cost - this is the very best bakeware/cookware I've ever used. Food cooks quickly and evenly and a minute in Dawn dishwashing liquid is all that's required.
