great for making beer
Yes, I bought this set up for making beer. I've made beer a few times and I know a higher quality kettle makes a difference, but this inexpensive alternative actually did a decent job. It is thing and keeping the temperature regulated was difficult, but it did cool rather quickly. The real question is how many used can I get out of it? Not half bad, especially when considering the price.
