Heuck 33022 11 Inch Porcelain Enamel Cast Iron Panni Set, Blue

Nice pan, but not what I expected
We wanted a pan to be used on a ceramic cooktop, and this seemed like just the ticket. It was advertised to be enamel inside and outside, so we thought it would be great for our needs. However, when it came, we saw that the inside did not seem to be enameled. It had the rough surface like a non-enameled cast iron pan would have. The use/care instructions were just like the ones you would get with a non-enameled cast iron pan as well. This just was not what we expected nor wanted.

Very nice pan, and if the description above does not affect your decision, I think you would be happy with this pan. Nice color, nice construction, good price, etc. We just wanted something smooth on the inside and outside.

Sounded Good but showed up chipped
I was looking for a good cast iron pannini pan. This one said it was seasoned and porcelain enamel finished. I received it in bad condition. Porcelain enameled finishes are used because they last for many years and put up with large amounts of contact without being compromised. This pan had about a dime sized piece chipped off on the pan. It was on the handle and not where the box was almost pierced during shipping. This made me question the quality of manufacture and materials used to produce this pan. I sent it back and will not order another from this manufacturer. I was surprised at Amazon for how it shipped the product as they are normally very good at...
