Paella Pan, Stainless Steel (26 cm)

Buyers beware
I wanted a Spanish made, stainless steel paella pan, so I ordered this pan. On the website it is described as "Authentically Spanish". When it arrived, there is the famous "Made in China" label. So far I have used the pan once to make seafood fideua, so far so good, but I think it is still too early to comment on the quality. If you are in the market for a real "authentic Spanish" paella pan, don't get this one. I am considering a carbon steel paella pan for the authenticity though it'd require more care.

Great Gift
I bought this as a Birthday gift for my Sister in law and she LOVES It.
It does need to be seasoned but like a cast iron pan but we both love cast iron so we do not have an issue with it.
It arrived really quick too!!
Thank you
Nyna

The best pan I've ever had
I have used two of these pans for years and wouldn't be without them. I am ordering two more, one to keep and one as a gift. To clean, just heat water in the pan until boiling, then rinse/lightly scour with plastic brush. I will never buy a coated pan again!!

Nuwave Oven Carrying/Storage Bag

Nuwave Oven Bag
I use my bag for storing the oven Nuwave 20322 Pro Digital-Controlled Infrared Tabletop Oven, Black since I can't keep it out on the counter. The oven sits in the bag assembled and it fits neatly and snugly, even with the extender ring. The bag is a must have for road trips. We like to take ours with us when we stay in hotels so we don't have to eat out if we don't want to. I pack my paper goods, seasonings, and other miscellaneous cooking items that I may need inside the base of the oven so it's like having my own little portable kitchen!

The bag is sturdy, and I think it is a good investment.

Nuwaave Oven Storage Carrying Bag
I am most pleased with the carrying bag for my Nuwave Oven. I use it after every cooking and take it to the campground when we go camping which works out very handy. I think everyone should have one of the carrying bags.

MIU France Tri-Ply Stainless Steel and Aluminum Sauté Pan with Lid, Silver, 5-Qt.

Large serviceable saute pan with welded handles
I'm a little surprised this saute pan doesn't have more reviews. It has a clunky "commercial kitchen" type feel to it, but it has worked well in the month or so I have had it. I have browned meat, boiled water and cooked pasta in it, made large batches of pasta sauce in this saute pan, and throughout it all this pan has been easy to clean, as far as stainless cookware goes.

It's only claim to "tri-ply" is its base, but for what I use a saute pan for, that is enough. The main reason I bought the MIU Stainless 5-Qt Saute Pan, aside from it being large (11" diameter, straight sides, 5 qt capacity) and coming with a lid, was that it had welded handles and was usable on induction hobs. Obviously, I am on the side of the welded handle camp, versus the riveted handle camp, for ease of cleanup and being able to run my cooking utensils smoothly around a pan.

The MIU Stainless 5-Qt Saute Pan with Lid doesn't have the heft (or price) of the analogous Sitram or Demeyere...

Olvida 5.8 Quart Nickel Plated Cast Iron Pot and Lid

Junk
Some years ago we purchased a Olvida grill pan. It is heavy duty and has served us very well. Based on this experience I bought my wife a 5.8 quart pot with lid and a 10" frypan for around $300. A large outlay for us but we have always used cast iron and the nickel plating would be great for cleaning.
The boxes arrived and so the disappointment. The castings are light weight and of incredibly poor quality. Neither pan has a flat bottom, the lid rocks on the top of the pot about 3/16" with no prospect of sealing. This product looks like a kindergarten project next to the quality of the 100 year old cast iron we have. The plating has pin holes in the surface in the insides of the pans. Some are large enough to clearly see the cast iron underneath. So much for the dishwasher. The large pot has spots as large as a pea that are unplated on the outside and grey blemishes in the plating that is there.
This is by far the most expensive junk I have ever purchased. If this is truly...

Finest Cast Iron Cookware in the World
I can't believe the other reviewer that condemned this fine cookware. This is heavy duty Cast iron Cookware and on top of that it Looks great. He must have an unrelated issue

Nordic Ware Barbecue Grilling Large Grill Topper

lame
THis is just an OK topper... What's good about it:

1. it's alright

Bad:
1. the nonstick surface is not very good and consequently it is not any easier to clean than a stainless topper
2. It warps terribly even under moderate temperature (e.g., 400) creating uneven cooking. To its credit it returns to shape after cool off, but this kind of stinks
3. The hole placement is not optimal for draining so you end up with pooled juice which is both annoying and a fire hazard.

So overall just OK

Nikko Christmas Ovenware Quiche 9.25"

Very pretty dish
Very nice and pretty quiche dish. Maybe slightly less tall than some quiches dishes but not a real problem. Perfect match to Nikko Holiday Time dishes. Not porcelain, but medium-weight stoneware.

Mrs. Wages Pickled Beets, 1.3-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 12)

Yummy good pickled beets...Mrs. Wages what can you say
We purchased this product due to the fact of the pricing being excellent compared to purchasing individual packs. There were no issues, and expiration dates was dated for next year...this was an initial concern we had that "maybe" they were packaged with short expiration dates. Great deal!
